Dr. James Rough is a board-certified plastic surgeon by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, specializing in advanced cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries of the body and face. He is committed to creating personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique goals and needs in Tucson, AZ. Education & Training
Dr. Rough earned his Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from Northern Arizona University, graduating with honors. He continued his education at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, where he earned his medical degree.
Following this, he completed a five-year general surgery residency at the University of Arizona and a two-year plastic surgery residency at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). During his time at UCLA, Dr. Rough also pursued advanced training in microsurgery through a fellowship program.
